On July 18, 2019, prof. Jerzy Majkowski passed away.

Prof. Majkowski was an outstanding scientist, the author of about 500 publications in scientific journals and the author or editor of 11 books. The main topic of his research interests was epilepsy. In the years 2003-2010 the Professor was the deputy chairman of the Council of Scientific Societies. During his activity in the Council, he was the author and co-author of four studies.
